What is life like in Changsha China
Are you thinking of taking a job teaching English in Changsha? Well you have come to the right place. My name is Jay, and I have lived in China for four years, in Shenzhen. I have recently taken a trip to Changsha, the capital city in Hunan Province of China Although this was my first trip, and I only got to stay 4 days in Changsha, I learned a lot about this city because one of my best friends gave me an amazing tour. Here’s what I learned about Changsha.
Cost of living in Changsha is much lower than the four Mega Tier one cities in China, but still a very urban city.
Although Changsha is not one of the 4 mega tier 1 cites in China, it is still a Tier 1 City, and one of the 20 top economically ranked cities in China. With a population just over 7 million people, Changsha offers a great balance between urban districts and nature. With Xiang River flowing between the city, there are many places can go along the riverside, as well as the mountains for hiking. Want to see the sights? Check out Wuyi Square where there are many shopping centers, bars, night clubs, cinemas, arcades, and much much more! You can enjoy everything a mega city has to offer, but at much lower prices.
